Well, I’m at a hostel which is situated just up the road from Loch Ness. And yes, I just spent the last hour sitting in the lobby watching the Mystics v Vixens game on YouTube. What a game! Now I just have to wait until the Pulse v Thunderbirds game is put up, because that one sounds even better! Fancy beating the top of the table team!

And now back to my trip… It’s been almost a week since I last typed up a post, but have been able to put up a few pics because I now have a UK sim card with free Internet included. Ask me for the number if you want it.

My day trip to Montenegro with the family was an interesting one. It rained alllllll day, and while it was really beautiful, and I’m not scared of a bit of water, it did mean we were inclined to spend the majority of our time in the car. On Tuesday we piled into the rental car with our luggage on our laps and drove to the airport where I said goodbye to the family and flew to Edinburgh. In Edinburgh I’ve been staying with my friend Jon, who I worked with at summer camp in the US, and it was great! So easy to walk everywhere, and I discovered I really like Edinburgh as a city.

Early Saturday morning Jon and I caught a train to Liverpool for our friend Faz’s wedding. It was one of the most beautiful and fun weddings I’ve ever been to. An 11 hour event for us, and the dance floor was still cranking when we left. We got to look around Liverpool One and things a little before catching the train back the next day, and it was a lovely sunny day.

I was up early again this morning to join the tour I’m now on. Seems like a pretty nice group of people, and the highlands sure are spectacular.
